-While this curriculum is suited for ages roughly between 4-10 we have been able to find a "happy medium" between ages 3 and 12.  Some of the material may be too advanced for the younger children such as the "key words" & "Apply it" sections in each lesson but the concepts can still be simplified and conveyed.  Alternatively, the "Story" & "Trivia" Videos sometimes feel too simple for the older groups past 10.  Of course every child is different and we look forward to hearing your TRUE STORY Curriculum feedback!

-Each of the 6 Old Testament stories in this curriculum are complete with two follow-along-with lessons designed to be taught once per week to collectively cover a span of 12 weeks.  Each lesson has TWO key words with discussion questions and can be broken up even more to collectively span up to 24 weeks.  Every Lesson comes with extra coloring pages and "older kids" work sheets so you will always have something for "Craft Time" if you do decide to stretch the curriculum. Breaking the curriculum into 24 weeks can be a benefit in the sense of review & overall comprehension...especially if your weekly attendance is inconsistent.  (Just know the "KFR" Take-Home-Review will be the same for two weeks in a row & both the "Story/Trivia" videos will be the same for a consecutive 4 weeks instead of 2 weeks if you spread to 24 weeks).

-The TRUE STORY "Story" & "Trivia" videos are all about 3-5 minutes long and can be accessed by scanning the provided QR CODE or by typing in the provided URL LINK into the search bar.  A THUMB-DRIVE with all the videos come with the "hard copy" purchase of the curriculum.  Each of the 6 STORIES have two corresponding lessons with ONE "Story" & "Trivia" video for that STORY...(Each video will be played twice (in the 12 week span) to cover that STORY and its two lessons). The corresponding "Story" Video QR CODE is on each "KFR" Take-Home Review for children to be able to watch at home with their family.

 

 

-The "Worship" video is the same for all 12 weeks and has 4 songs totaling just under 11 minutes in length. Worship covers: "Why do we praise & worship God?", "Do you know how much God loves you?", "Do you know you're a child of God?", "Who made the earth & everything in it?", and "The Bible is a TRUE STORY!".  Depending on your specific groups focus and interest you can play the first two songs in the first weeks lesson and the second songs in the second weeks lesson of each STORY. (Or just play the entire video if attention is there!) Again, it all depends on your group.
